When more than one robot shares a work area, the exclusive control function can limit entry into the work area to only one robot. The work area used when the exclusive control function is used is called the exclusive area. When robot "A" is about to enter the exclusive area that another robot has already entered, the function prevents more than one robot from entering the exclusive area by decelerating or stopping robot "A."
One of several controllers is set as the master controller, and the others are set as slave controllers. Up to four robots can be set as one exclusive control group. The master controller is connected to slave controllers via the hub.
