DENSO Robotics Europe at automatica 2025
At this year´s automatica we show our pioneering innovations, and you can see them live from June 24-27 in hall B5 / booth 327. For the first time we present a HealthCare Autonomous Mobile Robot (HAMR) an autonomous Service Robot developed for hospitals and laboratories. Other highlights include various applications with our COBOTTA PRO. We also show several software solutions like Unity, Virtual Components and Home Assist.
HAMR Service Robot in healthcare
The Healthcare AMR takes over the transportation of goods, such as samples or medication in hospitals and laboratories. It is equipped with individually loadable, lockable drawers and can reliably travel to multiple service points in one tour. After completing its tour, the HAMR returns automatically to the loading station and waits for its next task. Unique features are an optional integrated cooling unit and a digital payment solution that enables automated distribution of catering (snacks & drinks). It also interacts seamlessly with automated doors, gates & lifts - without human intervention. The HAMR fulfils all relevant EU norms and safety standards and is already in practical use in several pilot projects.
COBOTTA PRO & COBOTTA

COBOTTA PRO with touch sensing soft cover + AMR
An optional Touch Sensing Soft Cover enables a further increase in speed/acceleration and force in human-robot collaboration thanks to its integrated and highly sensitive sensor technology. This enables higher performance and efficiency in automated workflows significantly. If a person encounters the soft cover, the built-in sensor system reacts immediately and stops both the robot and the AMR.

COBOTTA PRO Human-Robot-Collaboration Application
Experience a precise placement of ESD components as well as a gearbox assembly of a SCARA upper arm in a real Human-Robot-Collaboration. Safety is guaranteed by intelligent scene switching, which adapts the speed and force to the respective process step.

COBOTTA PRO and a Cambrian 3D- Image Recognition System
This application shows the removal of small, transparent and shiny workpieces. This is a task where conventional 3D image recognition systems reach their limits, as they do not recognize differently shaped components and the force-monitored assembly of connectors is challenging.

COBOTTA PRO in combination with BIA.SmartStacker from Branscheid
The BIA.SmartStacker ensures the seamless supply of components in both manual and automated production processes and offers the option of picking up finished components. This is shown in a demonstration of a fully automated loading and unloading process of KLT boxes using a COBOTTA PRO in conjunction with the BIA.SmartStacker system: the simultaneous loading and unloading of components is fully supported, enabling flexible operation with a high autonomy time.

COBOTTA as lab assistant
Our COBOTTA as a flexible lab assistant taking over tiring routine tasks in laboratories. The COBOTTA is AI & camera-controlled and recognizes and sorts different laboratory samples.

COBOTTA and Horiba´s particle filter management system
HORIBA shows its new Version of Particle filter management system PFS-ONE Generation 3. The system uses a COBOTTA and provides a state-of-the-art solution for measuring gravimetric particle mass weights.

Real-time synchronization control with RC9 controller
A VMB robot and the RC9 controller will be shown with a XTS eXtended Transportsystem from Beckhoff. The task: container sorting and unloading as well as dynamic and fast synchronization of the moving element via the XTS eXtended transport system from Beckhoff with the interval in between - all without slowing down and stopping the robot.

High-Speed Camming Application
AI-based control of three SCARA robots with automatic path generation. Several robots and peripheral devices are used in the process. The control is realised by electronic synchronization to a virtual cam disc.

VS robot and new EYEFEEDER® 1400
Combination of a 6-axis robot VS-060 and the new flexible bulk material feeding system EYEFEEDER® 1400 from ROBA Engineering. The software and hardware of the EYEFEEDER® 1400 are fully integrated in the DENSO robot controller. The robot in the pick & place application takes out parts from a small bunker, places them in the EYEFEEDER® and from there back into the container. The process only takes 30 seconds.
